Privacy Policy
The short version: Fyt is local-first. Your training data lives on your device. Nothing is sold, no ads, no third-party trackers. Optional sign-in syncs your own data to our servers so you can use Fyt across devices — and you can export or delete everything.
Data stored on your device
Training plans, workouts, logged sessions, strength records, imported activities, and preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted anywhere unless you sign in to enable sync or export them yourself.
Apple Health
With your permission, Fyt reads workouts from Apple Health to import your training history. Access is read-only: Fyt never writes to Apple Health, and health data is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties. Imported workouts are stored with the rest of your local training data.
Connected services (Strava, file imports)
If you connect Strava, Fyt imports your activities using Strava's official API after you authorize it. Access tokens are stored in your device's Keychain and can be removed at any time by deleting your local data. FIT, TCX, and GPX files you import are processed on-device.
Account and sync (optional)
Fyt works fully without an account. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive your name, email (or Apple's private relay address), and an anonymous Apple identifier. Signing in enables cross-device sync: a snapshot of your athlete profile and training data is stored on our servers (Cloudflare) solely to provide sync for your account. Requests are authenticated with your Apple identity token.
Subscriptions
Coach+ subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. To validate a purchase, our server may verify the signed transaction receipt Apple issues (product, expiry, and revocation status only).
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Export and deletion
You can export a complete JSON copy of your data from Profile › Privacy & data at any time. "Delete local" removes all training records from your device and clears connected-service credentials from the Keychain. To delete synced data from our servers, email us and we will remove it promptly.
Children
Fyt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
